Soundcraft Delta 200 Internal Wiring Question

Hi all,

I am cleaning my Delta 200 out, and noticed that there are 3 yellow cables coming from the master section that are loose and not connected to anything.

Does anyone know what these are, and where they should be connected?

Thats the international colour code for earth wiring, and with the spade connectors on the end I would assume somewhere on each of the metal panels are three conectors to attach them to. They will help keep the case grounded and reduce noise (and potential electricution should someone say, poke around inside their desk without knowing what they are doing LOL!). Pretty sure thats what they are and that they should be connected.....anyone confirm?

He's not online, and judging by the amount of posts he has, he may only visit infrequently. Alternately you could try PMing Beastie, the OP of that thread (who also isn't currently online) to see if he got the PDF's and maybe he can email them to you?

Re: yellow cables

Definitely ground cables and they should be connect to the groud lug on about every 6th input module. Trust me, I do this all the time.

I'm so glad you replied to this thread! I was really worried I had put the OP crook and destroyed his desk! Phew
