no replies like "this is a lot to ask" or "you wont get quality at that price" or "behringer sucks"....

I am searching for the poor man's monitors and i do not want to start a bash session with behringer.

please help, and if you have links or pictures of DIY or other cheap monitors, lemme know!!! THANKS!
Go to parts express, make your own.

Yu may not waant to hear "no replies like "this is a lot to ask" or "you wont get quality at that price" or "behringer sucks"....". Fair enough. Just remember that every compromise IS a compromise, and when you compromise in this area, everything that you hear and therefore every decision that you make is profoundly affected by the compromise.

Equator D5 - $300 but worth every cent

I know, it's $100 more than you want to spend but you get a lot for that $100. I've had these for about a month and I think they are excellent. I would want to bump up to something else eventually but I will keep these no matter what I get.
