drumagog is a plug in that goes through and replaces the drums with samples.

this is what i do for metal.... sample each drum... mainly the kick and snare.. then trigger the kick/snare to those samples.. then each time the drummer does a roll or flam..etc use the live mic sound. so you end up just writing mutes in automation between the trigger and live mics.. but it doesn't sound replaced at all.. just solid. anyone else do this? i figuare it would be pretty common..... |
