| the 896hd will give you 8 mic pres with phantom power if you need them. plus 1 light pipe.

| Indeed, check what features you need! The RME HDSP9632 and Motu896HD are very different animals, but both will deliver a good sound ![]()

| Well i have not tried the Motu, but i will say most anything by the RME is really great. +1 for the RME imo. |

| i was looking at that card for a while, but just decided to go firewire so i can use my laptop on remote gigs as well. congrats and best of luck thumbsup |
