choose audio card

i want to upgrade my audio card,motu896hd rme9632 multiface which one is better(AD)?or any suggest?thanks!

my gear is Cubase sx

They are about the same. Pretty good, clean.

I like the functions on the 896hd, myself.

the 896hd will give you 8 mic pres with phantom power if you need them. plus 1 light pipe.

Indeed, check what features you need! The RME HDSP9632 and Motu896HD are very different animals, but both will deliver a good sound

If AD is what you care for most, maybe look for a standalone convertor then, or a USB solution like the Apogee Mini-Me.

Well i have not tried the Motu, but i will say most anything by the RME is really great. +1 for the RME imo.

I've been using an RME multiface for 3 years now...just love it, the company is great and the sound quality is second to none in the price range.

i was looking at that card for a while, but just decided to go firewire so i can use my laptop on remote gigs as well.
