So you thought Behringer was bad about "cloning" the look of gear?

So I joined this band a while back, and have been concentrating more on live playing and live gear stuff than studio stuff.

I was looking into a very small pair of mains to use for a couple of smaller rooms we play, just to run vocals, acoustic guitar and a Roland Sampling pad through, after listening to a few low end boxes, I settled on the EV ZX-1, great sounding, light weight, inexpensive, small, etc.

I have not bought the speakers yet but I am getting ready to, figured I want to get some covers/cases so they don't get too banged up in the gear trailer.

So searching on ZX1 stuff I came up with this seller on Ebay, who sells a bunch of gear and bags/cases under the "Moses X" brand.

I got curious about their Ebay store and start looking around, and turned up this stuff:

EV SX300 Rip Off (sort of, 10" instead of 12")

NEW Moses MOS-010 Passive PA Woofer Speaker 10" ABS - eBay (item 120318411538 end time Mar-13-09 15:31:12 PDT)

JBL EON10G2 Rip Off (sort of, 8" instead of 10" and passive)

eBay ABS_W0QQitemZ110259729269QQihZ001QQcategoryZ47094QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262JBL EON15G2 Rip Off (sort of, 12" instead of 15" and passive)

Moses MOS-012 Passive PA DJ Speaker 12" Woofer ABS NEW - eBay (item 180250897941 end time Apr-01-09 19:06:22 PDT)

They also have a bunch of mixers that look kinda familiar but I wont bore you with those....

...and No I'm not planning on buying these and looking for validation, the padded bag they have for a pair of the EV's does look pretty good and most dealers I have encountered are kinda indifferent about ordering bags/cases for stuff.

...just another guy private-labelling OEM Chinese PA stuff...there's also GTD Audio (even cheaper)...I purchased one of their 500W powered mixers for $138 shipped for a friend who does a solo gig at local bars, and he's been raving about it...probably not much different than the other more familiar brands like Phonic, Pyle, Behringer, etc...
check out their stuff here:

...and 100% positive feedback...been importing this stuff for 10 years...guess there's a market for it...

...I researched their source manufacturer in China, and anyone can put their own brand on these products with only a 50 pc. minimum order...
