firewire ports on my firepod are broken...

...and i believe presonus charges about $85 for the repair.

i'm wondering if this would be a relatively simple DIY repair (it's not under warranty, so no worries there), or if i'd really just be better off having them do it for me...

Yeah, I wonder the same thing cause my 1st is not working. It's probably some cracked solder or something.
