The affordable RODE mics I've used don't work on my voice so I'm not a fan. They are nice solid mics though. The NTK was the best but when I was looking for a tube condenser I went with a GT66 instead I liked it a lot better.

Did I mention that I LOVE the Shure Green Bullet?...my harp player (who also sings) used his Bullet for vocals at our last gig due to equipment setup (we went minimal with just a few little amps)...and it had this cool, old school lofi vibe. That is such a cool mic...with a one of a kind character.
