Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 Vs Famous Hardware Vintage Pres??

how good are the pres on this liquid channel stuff, forcusrite liquid saffire 56 to be exact. i just bought some expensive pres and compressor.

this channel strip for only 1000usd is pretty cheap and im wonderin if it has all the features compare to the big boys?? and got the sound to go with it. hows the sound quality? is it the big sound people spent 10000s of dollars on hardware pres?

Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56. the company claims that it has like 40pres and compressors from the major makers of pres out there.. does it sounds like the vintage units? any truth to this?

im not sure if the pre is the same pre from the liquid channel.
the pre itself in the liquid channel is good the way it is.

as for it sounding like vintage hardware.. i cant comment on the new saffire 56 but the liquid channel doesnt sound like the hardware its meant to emulate.
it add characteristics of the units but doesnt match sound wise

of the "40" pres the liquid was meant to emulate..having owned the unit i honestly heard "THAT LARGE OF A DIFFERENCE" between 8 pres...
so imo its still worth the money b/c you can get a liquid channel used around 1300.. you cant get 8 good pres for 1300, thats how i look at it.

cant comment on the saffire pre quality

Divine, what are your preferred 8 emulations? The 56 has 10 pre's below. I have used the "helios" in parallel compression with great results (I have a few decent pre's, sebatron.dav,summit,ect). Hopefully some of your faves are in the 56?
Cheers
