Where to buy Alctron Mics...???

Whats up everyone...
I wanted to ask a simple question...
I'm interested in the Alctron Microphones, but do not know where to order, or see the prices of their products..
Hopefully some one can help me out to find some information on this company..
I know that several big companies buy their products off of them, brand them and raise their prices just cause of the name brand, but I was looking for the direct company prices...
Thanks and God Bless

I think your only bet is to get ones sold used from participants of the group buy that happened a few years ago.

But, they are really very similar to all the low cost ribbons that flooded the market about 3 years ago...Nady has some as well as some other MFGs whose names are not coming to me now.

Good luck,
David

Yeah but the mic that is used for the 460 is normally $80 according to a mod site... but Apex sells it for something close to $300.. I wanted to see if I could get the company retail price...

Just a guess, but I suspect that Apex, Nady, et al don't want you to be able to do that. Unless you are acting as a corporation and buying a large number of mics, you're probably not going to get in the ballpark of those cheap prices. Volume=discounted price. There have been some group buys of these mics in the past, but I'm not aware of any currently.

I don't believe that Alctron is selling at retail. I've only seen them sell to branders like Nady, Apex, etc., or to a group buy that is ordering in sufficient volume. Even then, there are items that a group buy couldn't get because a brander had it locked up. Some of this stuff ends up on e-bay NIB as some GB members also bought for resale, so you might look there as well.
