what's the cheapest " anything at all " with s/pdif outputs to use with the 003 rack? i don't suppose there's a D.I. box available.dont have to be a pre.

Perhaps the Samson C-Valve at around 90 dollars new. Decidedly not very good. Occasionally one of the Behringer fx units with digital outs will be on sale for almost that low and their conversion isn't that bad. Completely possible there's something cheaper out there.
