Thread Starter | Low cost dac with wordclock out for experiments
Hello, after searching a lot in internet I have finally found this forum where I see several experts of audio arguments, expecially jitter. I would like to buy some gear to start experiments on my own: - I need a low cost dac with word clock out; - I need a low cost transport with word clock in; - I have seen behringer src2496. It seems that it can reclock the digital output of another device even if it the other device has no wordclock in. It seems to me almost impossible but so I ask you an opinion. I thank you in advance for any suggestion you wiill give to me. Thanks, Mario

Thread Starter | Probably I have not explained enough
Hello again, I would like to be more clear: I would like to setup a chain with a dac and a cd transport. The dac is the master clock and the cd transport is the slave (word clock in). The problem is that I would like to find the cheapest dac and the cheapest transport with word clock out/in. I ask also some info on behringer src2496 that seems a dac with master clock that do not need to send a wordclock to transport. Thanks again for reading!
