Any PC Software that acts like a loop pedal?

basically im using a boss rc50xl. and i love it but i have to give it back to my mate when he gets home in a few weeks and i am just wondering if there are any alternatives to the hardware itself.

basically i am currently outputting all my sound from my mixer into the pedal. so i figure why not just tyr and find a piece of software that does a similar thing to a loop pedal since the sound is going through the pc anyway.

guitar rig 2 has a looper pedal in it.

you can get audacity off the internuts fo free, and it has the option to record and loop.

I'm using Mobius Untitled Document the site is currently offline, and the program hasn't seen much development in the last few years, but it's a good functional looper in software.

Loopy Llama might fit the bill:

thanks guys. i have had a look and loopy llama seems to be the perfect fit. however the recording time on it is extremely low.

ill giev it a try.

but if there is something out there in the same vein as llama however with more recording time. i really wouldn;t mind paying a bit of money for it either. (especially if it is a big stable program or vst)

Have you checked InfiniteDub,
should work for quick & dirty loops
infiniteDub - Home
It should work for both PC and MAC as it works as a Flash application.
