FMR RNC/RNLA clips?

hi
I'm really interested in both
I've read a lot about them but never heard them actually...
Could anybody post some demo clips of those units? (on bass, drum, vocals...)

thanks!

...soon?

I have an RNLA currently and my RNC is en route so maybe this coming week I can create some samples.

Not sure what style of music you do normally (and i don't work w/vocals much) so if you want to shoot me some dry clips to run through them it'll speed things up.

I have RNLA on the front end of my PTLE rig. Everything goes through it.

Check my link, fwiw.

Sunday knows... nice song, nice vibe... to my ears there is too much "glue" but it is definitely a sound and i guess that's the RNLA since you use it on everything. i dunno, too much audible compression always leaves me with a little bit seasick feeling. Maybe it's just me.

Cheers,

Lia

Yeah.....I thought it would be an appropriate example for anyone interested in the cumulative sound of RNLA.

I knew that this project would be a bunch of fairly sparce tunes and I wanted to get some 'dark matter' in the mix. The main guitar is an old Stella and she really needs a little containment to play well with others.....bass and vox were already standard apps for RNLA.

So I just compressed everything on the way in......just got the lights flickering. Bass and vox also benefited from the comp on my 4T, also very light. Very few instances of compression during mixing.

RNLA is 'a sound' for sure.

BTW......thanks, Lia, for the listen.

I liked the sound (and the playing) on Sunday Knows. I thought it sounded very nice, warm, inviting. Very refreshing.

I might have to pick up an RNLA soon.
