| amphenol to xlr does anyone know where i can find a how-to on converting an amphenol mic to an xlr? |

| what mic is it? I just converted an old Shure 55SW to XLR and it is really straight forward as the 3-pin DIN corresponded exactly with the 3 pins on the XLR. It is just a matter of rewiring it to the XLR Jack. |

| electro voice 664 it's an electro voice ev 664. it has a female 4 pin amphenol connection on it. im guessing this means it isn't as straight forward as the shures, but i've heard that it could be done. |

| here is the manual which includes the wiring diagram. http://www.hamanuals.com/S1/CX7/refs/664spec.pdf I'm not a great electrician or anything so maybe someone else knows |
