| Crap on my SM7 foam cover So I spent the week tracking with my new sm7---a very aggresive rock band with a lot of screaming. The foam cover was pretty wet. ewww. Now they are gone and it's dried----now the foam in the front is all crusty, and I'm going to be working with a different band. Can it be washed? should I just let it collect a year of gnarliness and then buy a new foam pop filter? |

| I think soapy water would be ok. Just rinse it very well. You should maybe use a pop screen too so your next singer isn't tasting what the last guy that used the mic had for lunch.
