What is the Apogee Duet For PC?

I have been in the market for an interface for awhile now and right now I'm in between the Firestudio project and the TC 24D. I like the specs and the extra inputs on the project, but if i had to choose between that and 1 or 2 really good inputs i would choose better inputs because i only would be recording a motif, mpc, vocals, and guitar, on 1 or 2 channels. If anyone has suggestions please share, Thanks...

does the older apogee work on pc? the mini-me with USB or whatever it was called

yes it does work with pc with usb, if you buy be sure that it got the card installed. no every unit have it.

you got what the duet offer and s/pdif out and it can be a di box for mic.

i'm also looking for one of these :-)

Apogee mini me is outstanding. About $600. used. Mic pres are very nice, built in limiter with Apogee AD / DA !!!!
