Speaker set up for pc Hi, i need a speaker set up for my computer... it is not needed for mixing as i only record music on my pc every so often. Also my budget is £130. I thought i would come hear because people in hifi shops tend to speak bulls**t. thanks, Colm

I have these Klipsch speakers and I am pretty happy with them as far as computer speakers go. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16836119105 Through listening to them at the store where I bought them, it was clear that these had a lot more midrange clarity than all of the other speakers (altec lansing, creative, etc.) except for the Bose setup, and I thought these sounded similar, but probably had less artificial "air" added to the high end than the Bose. Also, unlike most 2.1 computer speakers, you actually get CONTROL of the bass/sub. At a little less than 1/2 (11:00) on the subwoofer control it sounds natural. Other systems it was either no sub or way too much bass. The adjustment just went from way too much bass to horribly loose and overpowering bass on a lot of the other speakers. One thing, however, they hiss a little bit. You always hear faint white noise through them anytime they are turned on, even if the volume is all the way off. It didn't bother me too much, but that is one thing that isn't the greatest.

I bought a set of these several years ago: http://www.cambridgesoundworks.com/s...item=c1swzzzzz and for non-critical stuff, they work quite well. Bri
