Rendering Issues - Help Please

Hey guys, I'm not sure where to put this, as this is my first post but I've got a question.

I've finally started doing some basic recording of my guitars. Just an SM57 into a Tapco Link.usb to mic my amp. I'm also using Tracktion 2 which was the included software. The quality sounds good enough to me but when it comes to the actual exporting of a project into an audio file, the end result is ALWAYS slower than the speed i'm actually playing, and a half step down pitch-wise. I've tried about 20 times with different combinations of settings and its always the same. Anyone familiar with Tracktion or know what I'm doing wrong?

Make sure you're not doing anything like recording at 48KHz and playing back at 44
