presonus fp10 vs Focusrite Sappire 10

I am looking for a new audio interface with at least 8 inputs and have come accross these 2 for just under £300 each.

Does anyone have any experiance with these models. I am mostly concerned about latency and reliability issues. I would like to be able to comfortably run with a latency of under 10ms and I do not want the hassle of dealing with drop outs/glitches and the such like.

I am not too concerned about the pre-amps as all signals are routed through a Soundcraft Spirit Studio desk and I will primarily be using those pre-amps.

I am currently running 2 systems, Cubase SX2 on a 1.6 GHz dual core PC with 2 GB RAM and Logic 8 on a 2.3GHz Macbook with 4GB RAM.

I am also looking for a good Large Diaphragm condenser for under £400 that is not part of the Audio-Techina 40 series. Any suggestions
