Central Station- wireless remote?!?!

Does anyone here know how to create/build a wireless system that you could incorporate with the Presonus Central Station.....? I've made a wired talkback button for clients, etc. to use but I'm tired of the "wire" and want to figure out a way to make a wireless button like the big studios with Neve's and SSL's have.....

I didn't see any threads about this.....

ok....
How about this then..... does anyone know how to build a wireless remote transmitter (i.e button) and a receiver to connect to the back of the central station to trigger the talkback.

I've been searching the web but can't find anything useful.
Surely this can be done, no?!?!

I dunno, I think if you started down this route you might open a whole can of worms that were better off left alone.

the audio travels down the Central Station remote - so I'm not sure how doable this is! UNLESS you made a switching system that operated the host unit...

Thanks for the replies everyone.
Ya, the further I go into this rabbit hole, the more overwhelming it gets.

I think the TB4 is exactly the concept I wanna do but it's pretty pricey for a little button! :-)

You'd think it wouldn't be so tough to do... I mean, the CS already has a 1/4 inch remote talkback input for a secondary wired control..... (which I use now with a switchcraft button). I just want it to be wireless! Is that too much to ask!??!?!

Thanks everyone, I'll keep you posted on this.

Don't know if you resolved this, but qkits sells a receiver and transmitter for about $50.

thanks so much for replying...

Actually, I didn't resolve this issue yet. Would this receiver be able to have a 1/4 inch input attached to it so I could use the signal to trigger the talkback ??

If so, could you give me a link to this kit? I went on the site but didn't know where to start looking....

Thanks again for the input, much appreciated!
