PA for a studio power amp?

im not going to be buying a separate power amp for awhile and was wondering if i could route my mixers stereo outs (ctrl room) into my bands pa powered mixer...then pan them all the way right and left and use the pa to power my passive monitors...obviously really quietly.

Your biggest issue will be the fan noise. Try to put the amps in a different room and run up to 40 feet of 10 gauge wire back to the studio.

tINY is def right.

I have just brought a Crest power amp that was used on a high end PA, and the fan really kicks out (the rack is near my listening position ).

Check it first.

Will.
