Thread Starter | Looking for a tube amp for synthesizer recording chain
Hi, I want to give my virus a bit more sat/distortion (especially looking for something hot on sinus-waves) in the recording stage and in my opinion there is no way around a tube, so maybe you will be able to recommend me something. thank you in advance ! |

I would recommend a small class-A combo, like a Fender Champ or one of those Epiphone chumpys for around 200 bucks. That way you can get some good power tube distortion as well without blowing out your neighbors.
