| Looks like their TubePre, EQ3B and COMP16 all in one... Though I might be wrong. But the price tells me I can't be far off. All 3 of those separately are so-so. This channel strip wouldn't be something I'd want to get. For $100 more, get the Eureka channel strip. That thing rocks, especially if you replace the opamps with a pair of Burr Browns. I use it for snare, acoustic guitar and vocals, and it's awesome. A ton of headroom, and the variable impedance switch is great for using ribbon mics. d. |
