Replacement speakers for studio monitors

I have a pair of JBL 2600 monitors. Both speakers have some damage to them, and I'd like to get some inexpensive replacements. Not even sure what to get. The speakers inside say..

506G 70097
30A - JBA

And the specs from JBL's site...

General
Recommended Power Amplifier Range10 - 100 watts
Nominal Impedance 8 ohms
Woofer 6.5" high polymer laminate
Tweeter 0.5" pure titanium
Frequency Response60Hz - 23kHz
Crossover Frequency(ies) 3kHz
Sensitivity 89dB (1 watt/1 meter)

Does anyone know where I can get equivilant replacement speakers at a pretty reasonable price? I'm not looking to invest in these things, as I don't love them, but if I can get them up to speed for under 50 bucks it might be worth it. thanks!

Thanks for the input Narco. I found all that googling, that's why I posted on here. I definitely don't need a complete set of monitors. And those replacement speakers are simply too high end. I'd get by cheaper buying the actual complete units instead of those speakers. Perhaps ebay is the way to go. there are some bargains on there.

These won't be used for critical monitoring. Maybe an extra pair in a control room or something.

I have the same speakers! Decent for the price! What are you using to power them?

I was using them with an Alesis RA100. I got a pair of Alesis Monitor One MkII last christmas so I've been using those ever since. I just wanted to replace the speakers in those JBL 2600s. Couldn't bear to see them incomplete, though I still don't use them. lol.

I'm actually thinking about selling them. I just can't get very much, so not sure if it's worth it.

Ya I just bought some sony ss-1000b's and they are 8" 3 way but only go down to 50hz. I'm gonna gut them and rebuild a new speaker.
