Advise on outboard gear

I'm looking for a multi-input channel to patch all my keyboards an modules into before hitting my converter's/soundcard. What are some of the things you guys are using to patch your instruments into your DAW? Say for instance I have an apogee 200. What whould be the best plan of attack for patching gear into it. $1,200 dollar budget. I need at least 9 to 10 ins. No mixers please.

Thanks

50euro Neutrik TRS Patchbay

Buy yourself something nice with the money left

About your double post: the answer in the High End will be a $1200 patchbay probably...

OK a mixer --but about $900 used.. A VS 2480 Roland >>> 24 analog I/O >> spdif & optical >> right to ~~ your DAW

I bet any one of those new summing boxes would work.
