Mic advice needed

I have a Bock 195. I am wondering if leaving it set up in the shockmount is ok to do, in regards to the safety of the mic. I am not wanting to take it down and put in the wooden box. Is this ok to do, or should i always store in the box? any help much appreciated.

Depends on your stand.

If it's ultra stable, just throw a dust cover over it.

If not, store in the box.
