Thread Starter | Since I read "synths are NOT high end™" in the high end forum, I feel even more attracted by low end theory... I like synths. Especially old Rolands. Make the low end look like high end - A PHAT mix needs a PHAT low end, doesn't it? And a Juno 106 makes a high end job in the bass range... So I'd say some Synths are high end low enders. Here's my 2c-pic that makes my low end studio (synths included) look like high end. My theory: Sometimes it's all about photoshopping or a good song that makes a studio high end. I'm looking forward to see your pictures. ![]() |

![]() Only 6. ![]() ![]() Got some more in other rooms. My clients love listening variety like I do. | Dude, that picture is hilarious. Awesome! I am going to come to your studio and get shot in the eye when I tell you the bass in the mix is too much for my tastes. Actually, I keep a pellet gun in my studio too. I shoot other cats that f*ck with my cat. Nobody messes with my cat. Also useful when negotiating rates to keep it just in view of the client on a table or sticking out of a drawer. No more $20/hour gigs. Darthfader, you need to make a calendar.

I got the SM6A's (active) They aren't bad at all. But don't buy them if you're into distorted guitars. They do well on pop/hiphop, quite amazing detail and lowend for the price. But for my rock productions I recently got the PMC AML1. Feels great. Beyond compare. Wrong forum for the AML1, sorry. Thanks for the extra buckethead, narco. | |
