Thread Starter | Behringer Edison spatial Is the Behringer Edison the same as the waves stereo widener plugin. I hear a lot of pro studios are using this beringer edison unit. Is it being used for the final mix to make it wider or for tracking individual parts in stereo thanks |

I am a user of the Behringer Edison(i own 2 of them). To be honest i've never seen them in any pro studios...come to think of it i've never seen anything Behringer either. ![]() I would never advocate using Spatialization to make a mix"wider" or tracking in stereo. I prefer to use it as a temporary effect. If your mixes aren't wide enough, i would suggest you look elsewhere for a solution. ![]() | |

| Hi everybody i'm new here,i just saw the forum and it looked very interesting.... i think if i were to compare the edison with any waves plugs it would be the ps22 split, spread and xsplit..... the waves imager i more like an over extended panner,Not a great thing to put on an overall mix.... the ps22 stuff is frequency based so it is great for touching up mono sources.... sorry about my bland registration ![]() |
