here's mine

finally wired and ready to go after I moved it a few months ago.

to the left of the console is my storage for amps, guitars, mics, etc.

my house now serves as the "tracking room"

I like it. Here's the bulk of what's going on over here these days.

By far, the best investment in any piece of gear was the $1.29 for the college-ruled ring notebook. It gets more use than anything else, and has become the most valuable...

+1 on the notebook! Cubase has a notes function but I can't part with pen and paper

Camera was nicked a while ago so no photos at the mo', but a modest gear list:

AMD dual core PC, silenced, rack-mounted, using Cubase SX 2.2
Tascam FW1804
Berry ADA8000
Novation Supernova II Keyboard
Lexicon MPX500
Aphex Exciter (type c )
UAD-1 Studio w Pult-pro, Cambridge, Fairchild etc
Mackie HR624s
Alesis Control Pad
Berry BCF2000
boss latch for punch-in/out
boss dual momentary for control pad
Cheap electro acoustic for knocking ideas out on
one 22" and one 24" monitor

Biggest sin - completely untreated room - mix translation nightmare, especially tops (over-emphasised) and around 150-350hz (under-emphasised).
The tops I can compensate for slightly with the roll-off on the Mackies but the low mid is indeed a misery, next purchase is of course proper acoustic treatment - DIY after being inspired by the thread in the acoustics forum

Best purchases though include two books - 'Mixing with your Mind' by Paul Stavrou and 'Internal Mixing' by Friedemannn Tischmeyer (the latter from the UA site) learend more from them in 2 weeks than I did in 2 years..
