Se Reflexion Filter

I just bought a reflexion filter used and can't hook up any of the microphones. The rod that comes with the reflexion filter is a different thread than on my mic's (sm7, etc)?? Can someone point to a part that I could buy so that I can hook up my mics?

The reflexion filter comes with a threaded adaptor, the same as many mic clips and shockmounts. Check your mic collection and see if any have the adaptor included for use on stands with smaller threads. If you do have one it will work on the rf. That was one drawback I found on the reflexion filter. Everytime I unscrewed the clip/ shockmout from the rod the adaptor came off with it. I imagine the seller didn't realize this had happened before they shipped it to you. If all else fails, PM me your street address and I'll mail you one.

Microphone Mount Adapter

I believe that the Reflexion Filter has a 3/8" adapter on the rod. You probably need a 5/8" adapter. They are generic, and screw right over the 3/8' rod. Any music store should carry them.

Good luck!

They probably do have them at the major stores (Guitar Center ?) I realized the reason the adaptors don't want to stay on the RF rod is because the i.d is 3/8 " coarse thread, while the o.d. for standard mic mounts is 5/8"-27, which is a very fine thread so it holds tighter. I was gonna use some Loctite to keep the thing on the rod if I'd kept it (I ended up returning it). Anyway, let me know if you can't find one. Shouldn't cost me more than a buck or so to mail. Anything for a fellow slut.

Yeah, it should have come with the adapter. You should contact the seller and get one.
