Power distribution

Can anyone recommend a decent power conditioner/power distribution unit for my rack. I have 16/18 units to power so I'll probably need 2 units. Thanks in advance, joe.

Just thought I'd ask again before I take the plunge. It's really power distribution to tidy up my rack. Thanks in advance.

I bought a bottom of the line furman for just over $50 at GC... not too spendy, and it's better than just a powerstrip. HTH.

Thanks for that. Is there any downside to buying cheap power distribution. I'm only looking to tidy up my rack. Should I be looking for more?

For simple wire management, cheap is fine. Half of the challenge with power is simply star grounding everything, which is accomplished simply by plugging everything into the same source - keeping in mind current limits of course.

Also look at getting custom length IEC cables. This will help a ton. Middle Atlantic sells them in packages of different lengths.

Furman and Middle Atlantic are what I've always used. All of the condition and sequencing in my own studio is Middle Atlantic. SurgeX is a slightly less expensive option that I've used in a few builds as well.

That's all the simple stuff. There are other solutions, but the get much, much more expensive.
