Question What's your favorite FREEware VST reverb or delay?

Hello.

I am wondering what your favorite freeware VST reverb and/or delay is.
Please list VST's that have high quality sound (and possibly interesting options).

I love Christian Knufinke's SIR. This is a great impulse reverb and with good IR's it can sound top notch!

SIR: SIR1

For non IR reverbs I love FreeVerb Too.

FreeverbToo

OmniVerb is another decent reverb

Glaceverb, it's not for everything but it's not bad for what it does do.

well altho technically not free, audiodamage.com reverence is so great it puts me to my knees everytime i use it. altho i generally don use reverb too often.

Used Sir, its good, altho i don like convo's for some reason...

The other one i didn't mind was silverspike.com roommachine...has a 'different quality' than most to it.

Sam.

Another thumbs up to SIR...seriously amazing with the right IR's. I think you can find a link to some Impluse Responses on the SIR website, if memory serves me well. Oh, on the downside, it crashes Acid Music Studio fairly regularly if I'm not careful how I use it.

Sir is a bit resource hungry with big impulses loaded so you might only get a few instances of it before you need to render or freeze depending on your computer but it's a great app. Plenty of free decent impulses on the net to download too. Pretty much a no brainer

Yeah can be a little cpu hungry. I was able to load a few instances of it on my old P43.2ghz with 2gb ram with some hefty vsti's but nothing like Freeverb Too which is very cpu light and still great sounding.
On my Core2 Duo 2.4ghz with 4gb Ram I've been able to load stacks of instances of SIR with long IR's + compressors, eq's, gate's etc. & 8 large VSTi's and still only reaching about 30-40% cpu!!

I like glaceverb and SH-1, although the link for that one seems to have gone south.

+1 on SIR... you can find some truly astounding impulses out there for it too
However, as has been pointed out, its pretty resource intensive..

In the resource-light department, the GlaceVerb and AnwidaSoft DX Reverb Lite both do pretty acceptable jobs...
