I just wanted to say that my ACH payment went through, and that the redundant payment seems to have been stopped dead in its tracks.

It would have been nice to have been notified that it was corrected. But hey, I'm one out of almost 400 fellow "group buyers," so it's okay.

- thanks to Chance and Randy for making this happen!

If you are referring to the xfrmrs, it was their call.

Was there any indication of what brand of transformers they were going to use?

Well, I think that for many of those who have dealt with Chinese Transformers, that's a good thing. It means that maybe the Tranny's won't be complete crap.

In one of the threads I read Chance stated the manufacturer will not reveal exactly where they are from for "trade secret" reasons [or something like that - not an exact quote!]

This is getting more exciting by the minute. I'm just hoping the pres will be usable. Chance, what color are the preamps?

They'll be a burnt orange with white lettering.

Hey Barry,

Sorry about not sending a PM back to you confirming that I cancelled the duplicate payment... I saw the PM, then Chance sent an email to me asking me to check it out for you and I did, and just slipped my mind to send a PM or email confirming it to you...

nice. that was my preferred color choice--rusty, to give a "vintage" impression.

I am still searching for solutions for better rates shipping out side of the USA. I haven't forgotten about you guys and
I found something called "postal consolidation". This is where several packages are shipped to another country (as one shippment) then disbursed in that country. I should have more information next week.

- absolutely no problem, Randy. Everything worked out okay in the end. I just wish I'd had more money for a bigger order. But nontheless, this is very exciting and I'm glad to be a small part of it. Sorry again, to you guys and everybody else for my jerky comments.

I was getting into a panic when my payment wouldn't go through, and then I got two confirmations - that on top of the previous PP refund issues. I'm not faulting you or Chance for any of that. I was just afraid I was going to miss the boat with the time and work limitations I was under.

- thanks again, guys!!!

No harm, no foul. It was a bumpy ride and every one was stressing there at the end. Now we get to wait for happily ever after

Interesting. Any insight into what this will mean? I take it its not really an indication of their quality as much as we would all hope.

We didn't open them up, but these are the same as the prototypes. Everyone used their ears and liked what they heard. One comment from one of those that heard it was a quote from the "Language of music" the Tom Dowd story, when Ray Charles said "You can have 1 track or 24 tracks, but the bottom line is, What does it SOUND like baby?"
