| Gear maniac | Stepped Attenuator I found this stepped attenuator on this site Attenuator Kit Installation Would this work for balanced audio or would I need more decks. I don't know much about these switches.

| If you take apart an API 550 or a Neve 1081 that is about what you would find in there. If you take apart a Focusrite red preamp, you will see the resisitors on the the circuit card. That is some really nice stuff to have. A lot of work for sure, though. I think the Avocet has that too on the big knob. |
