Exclamation Small footprint mixer...

In need of ASAP...

Looking for a small footprint mixer (as small as possible...desk space is waaay limited) that will serve ONLY as a passive level controller for my speakers, as well as talkback mute/unmute duties.

Must have mutes on channels...faders would be nice, but not necessary.

Maybe used for extra mic preamps occasionally. Price? Sub $200 if possible. Used is okay.

What's out there?

You didn't mention how many channels minimum?

There's the Alesis 19" mixer that Behringer copied. 3U if I'm not mistaking, has faders and some mic preamps.

I have been looking for the same thing myself. I find myself at my day job running Visio and dreaming:

yamaha mg 6 fx..under $200 ..6 chanels, mutes, they call it track on/off/..effects,main and control room out, i think two xlr ins. i used one for exactly that purpose, a volume control to run one monitor set and a pair of mastering speakers independently, it worked fine for that..

How about this?

I can't find a retailer for it right now but if you're interested I may know somebody selling one (he has one that has been used once, not sure if he's looking to keep).

It's a Spirit Folio Notepad 4 channel (by Soundcraft). No mute but the knobs kinda serve for that. Or is that no good?
