Quick set-up check - Apogee Duet to Genelec 8020a

Hi everyone -- first post. I've read this forum over the past month and found it really informative.

I'm just now building a small studio and decided upon running an Apogee Duet through my MBP to a pair of Genelec 8020a. This is a bit over my budget, but I also want to use it as a playback for CDs in my apartment. Two birds, one stone...

I'm appealing to the collective wisdom and have a couple of questions:

1) Has anyone run this setup? What are your thoughts?
2) I'll need to run about 20ft of cable, is this OK given the unbalanced outs?
3) Any cable recommendations? I'd like to avoid spending 100 bucks on cables, but I do want cables that aren't too cheap.

I'm sure these are pretty easy questions. Sorry, I'm just starting out. Thanks kindly in advance!

I can answer #3 at least. Try redco.com for your cables, they build you what you want and its very reasonable. Just get some mogami cable and you'll be done with it.
