Yorkville Monitors

Does anyone of you use Yorkville active monitors? They are relatively cheap, and I'm thinking of getting a pair of YSM2p and subwoofer.
What do you guys think? How do they compare with Dynaudio and Adam that are rather popular here.

Thanks,
Ed

I have YSM1's at home and honestly, for the money I don't see how I can complain. I've had friends review stuff I've mixed at home on their ADAM and Dynaudio rigs and I haven't had any discrepancies pointed out to me yet. As for the smaller, YSM2's, I dunno, never used them. Right now for a portable, location rig we're using Genelec 8020's.

Anyways, I'd just try em out. You'll find very few unfavourable reviews of Yorkville YSM's in general from ppl that have used them and take their $ into consideration. Conversely,I've used the cheap Wharfdale's for eg and found them to be complete shite...

Baz, thank you for your response.

Actually, how does the Y-ville compare to Alesis M1 Active MkII that I have right now. Would it be a step forward or no?

Thanks,
Ed
