| a room treatment question I have 16 bass traps for the four corners of my room. Each corner trap is 2' long. My new room has 9' ceilings, though, my old room had 8' ceilings. Which would be a better idea- 1) Space the traps evenly, vertically, which would leave a 4" gap between each trap. 2) Fill the corner from the top, leaving a 1' space at the bottom of the corner. Thanks. |

| Lives for gear | I'd put one at the very top, in the tricorner where 2 walls meet the ceiling, put one at the very bottom where the 2 walls meet the floor, then evenly space the rest. The bass accumulates most strongly in the tricorners, so you definitely want the traps there.
