They released it on Oct 10. I've already listened to it dozens of times and really love the album but... why start this thread now?

There was a huge thread about this over in the "So much gear so little time" Forum

I paid $10 US for mine because I support bands I like.

As has been discussed in the other threads its an interesting experiment Radiohead have done with the pricing for this release. To call it 'free' and 'a good deal' sort of misses the point though IMO. If you are involved in music you will know that it is good to get paid for your hard work and it is a good encouragement to keep producing great records.

I did the same- and then felt ripped off by the very low bit rate MP3's I received.
I expected MP3's, but at that bit rate they should have been free !

The same people that almost a month ago had to hear about the free download on the six o'clock news, the radio, newspapers, magazines, friends and every internet site in the known universe.

Unless you have a beard the same size as santa's and have just come back to reality after being marooned on a desert island for 3 weeks, I smell pure trolling.

Well, I don't wanna police this thread no more, I got better stuff to do, so it's closed

All enjoy your Radiohead downloads instead of bickering about it, thanks
