Whats the best mixer to get for automating faders

I noticed beringer has one but i hate the company..Pre sonus has one but it only has one automated fader... and i am tired of drawing automation..... is there anything out there i am not aware of and how is it compatable to pc. i am looking for a fader port tpe mixer... not a large full scale one

If you're drawing automation envelopes, then I'd assume that you're using a DAW with multi-track software.

Why not consider a midi controller instead of a mixer.

I've been looking at the Mackie MCU Pro:
Mackie - Mackie Control Universal Pro

Maybe some here can let you know about usability.
I really wonder if it's stable and reliable.
As in... does it feel like a synced appendage of the DAW (Sonar6/7) or like a big, plastic mouse with faders?

yeah I think you're talking about controllers not mixers. The best budget ones are probably the mackie ones, they came out with new versions recently so the older ones are cheaper

This is one area where Behringer isn't bad. Lots of people use the BCF2000 with no issues. It's also USB. Do a search on Geraslutz for reivews.

BTW the MCU would definitely be better, but $800 better?

do you know if it is any good.. i know berenger usually has something go bad with it pretty fast. i have had cheaper mixers go out in like a matter of months so i didnt want to spend 200 on that and have 3 motors go out.
The mackie is nice but i just dont have the money to spend on a control surface. i still need a better mic and more mogami cables i just wanted something that would spare the time and eye squinting of drawing automation in sonar 6 pe
