| MPA Gold into Line 6 issues Hi, I just bought a Art MPA Gold Preamp to record through my Line 6 Toneport UX2. It really helps my microphones (mxl 909 and at2020) sound a lot better, but I noticed that the when I record, the sound is not coming through balanced. Through my monitor earphones (shure e5) it sounds as if much of the sound is panned left, and I must pan about 45% right to get what I hear as a balanced left/right sound. I use adobe audition to record into, but I doubt that is the problem. The earphones are fine, and my hearing definitely isn't that messed up. When I was just using the Toneport I never had these problems, does anyone know what is going on, or what I can do? I mainly record acoustic guitar, vocals, some rhythm and bass, and really look forward to being able to use the MPA Gold to its full potential. Also, I will be getting a dbx 266xl compressor from a friend shortly...will this have any help/hinder the problem I'm having? Thanks for the help. -Bill |

| That's a weird one, sounds more like a software problem than anything. If line 6 has a forum I'd ask the same question over there. Surely there's someone running the same combo as you. |
