DIY bass traps

what is the usual coast of producing four decent sized bass traps? I want to make these portable so that I can just position them around a drum set in a band's practice spot/basement and have better, even if still not great, conditions to record in.

Do a search on Acoustic panels or owens-corning 703.

If I remember right it cost me about $40.00 per 2x4 broadband absorber which included 4" of 703/705, 1x8's and cloth. My 4" bass traps were about $1.50 sf so 2 layers 2'x9'x2" is about $54.00 plus wood and cloth.

I just built 6 - 4'x16"x6" bass traps with pine frames, mineral wool insulation and burlap covering for about $200. I had enough material leftover to build one additional 4'x16"x4" panel. So 7 panels total. It was worth every penny.
