| Show me your low end room Im starting to get over thinking my room was way shittier than it really is. I killed the flutter verb and left everything else as is basically. Seems to be working great so far. |

| I think an even better idea would be to have a sound clip attached to show just what can be done in rooms like these! Cool stuff, I'll try to finish rewiring my space and get a few shots up myself. |

| I have a question for UncleLenny: Looks like you've got a Toft Audio EC-1, is that correct? How do you like it and how does it compare to the other pres you've got? thx!

| Thanks, dog..........very much. That pre is actually a Trident 4T channel strip that I stumbled upon used. I like it for its compression and EQ sections and I use it for anything that I can do with one channel....vox, bass, piano and as a DI for acoustic guits along with that KSM32. It has that John Oram characteristic sound that seems to fit with my stuff. Those other pre's are Presonus....good enough for micing up the amps, at least for now.

| Here's what we've got now. Sort of a dungeon, but the residue from the decaying limestone actually makes the room a lot more neutral! Also, just bought a Midas 240 which should really tidy things up a lot more cable and routing wise. Recording onto a MOTU 1224 in Cubase SX 2 and listening on Tannoy Reveal 6Ds. The only thing high end about this room are the Blue mics, pres and cables that we got at firesale prices! |

| I figured I would join in. Monitors are Wharfedale Diamond Pro 8.2. Behringer board is used for monitoring only. In the rack I have the M-Audio Profire, DBX286a Processor, and an ADA8000. I have everything going through a Dell Precision Workstation running M-Powered as well as Mackie Tracktion. I have several CAD condensers and an MXL V69. |

| Hey, thanks reddog! I'll be sure to pass that on to him, because he thinks he sucks for some reason...I think he's listed on our myspace page as David Treadway: Guitar, vocals and self-loathing! There's a pic of him with a "kick me" sign on his back, too! Andy |
