Here's my low end studio, basically a converted garage but ideal for learning the trade while I save up for a real studio :

BatCave recording services

A lot of my work involves live recording so the rooms used more for mixing than tracking.

Nice!

Has anyone threatened to sue you over the use of the batman emblem?
One would think they would take exception to that.

Here's my studio which I've been in for about a year. Lovin it. 121 year old house in downtown Toronto, Canada. Been upgrading gear steadily since.
Pic 1: first floor loud room
Pic 2: third floor control room (attic space, middle of the night in this shot...)

perhaps the only thing lowend about your setup is the pair of computer speakers nestled between the other monitors.

Well...

It's not done yet... but at the very least I have to show someone the work I've been doing!

3 of the walls have an air gap of 3" and the 4th wall is an 8" offset stud wall. Why you ask? The center beam in the house is 8" so the numbers just worked out that way. Also I used R-13 because I just can't afford about 2k for 703/705 all over. So far, so good. Only one smashed thumb!

I'm hoping to do some remodeling this winter, hardwood floors and some traps. But it does the job for me.

R-13 inside of the walls is just fine. You want to use the 703/705 for inside of the room to control sound (room acoustics)

More pics and plenty of sample recordings at my web site:

I recently graduated from a closet in my garage to a new room built on the back of the house. My wife apparently likes me better where she can see me.

Well I guess we can cross off Saudi Arabia on the list for places we DON'T have traps.

nice, love it for making electro tracks, nice bass lines, hate the presets, hard to edit without the pg10(controller), can get nice analog like sounds once u figure out how to use the lineaar synthesis, not like reason thin harmonic less sounds, decent keyboard, crappy bend/mod wheel.

Here's my little room. I know it's not exactly low end, but I also know it's completely not high end... haha
