| Lives for gear | damn these are some nice rigs. I wish I could say that they were low end. Maybe because I make hip hop and it is really a minimalist kind of genre that i disagree but all i have is Reason 3, a radium 49, a bcf 2000, a mpd 16, sonar,a turntable a dj mixer and some records. they are kind of dark but all i have right now

Is that a Behringer MAGICIAN T1950? Where did you find it? how good does it work? I have alway been very curious about them.

| Ok guys, Here are some tracks I just recorded as live takes for a folk duo in the Low End room I posted earlier. I don't know if its worth bothering since the myspace compression ruins everything that goes through it, but give it a shot www.myspace.com/willgarrison |

| Thanks so much reddog! I appreciate the feedback. I owe most of the wow factor in those recordings to Will Garrison and my brother James Waldo on cello! |

| I've Got the same notebook, do you have a problem with it bluescreening and saying something about dumping physical memory? Also I'll assume yours didn't come with windows media center edition because it doesn't work with anything recording related. |

| I think it's funny when people pose all their gear in a shot. We want to see what your setup looks like the way it normally is!

| Gear maniac | The carpet and wall color seem to look a whole lot like mine, but it might just be the pictures. Is it grey or a purple-y color? |

| Gear maniac | Let's see if this works. Me and my bass player tracking bass for our album. This is probably the cleanest and emptyist my room has ever been. There are normally drums in that big open space in the back. But it gets cramped in there. I'll post some more of mic'd stuff and my rack sometime soon. |

Looks cool and simple and as long as you're doing what you hear in your head and feel in your heart, there's no reason to make excuses for your room. Gotta make do with what you've got.....I've heard some real shit here at GS recorded with "hi-end" gear. It's the tune first, performance second, room next, gear last.......... in my opinion...//////........peace
