Heres my low end room, featuring ikea products and mostly guitar stuff
The rack is an ikea shelf thing that a gator rack fits in perfectly
the desk is from ikea too

mostly guitar stuff, I guess my amps are quite slutty, engl and a randall modular tube amp

on the rack side of things, Joe Meek twin Q is the latest edition, probably qualifies as low end
Also in there is an alto eq - ultra low end!
And some guitar amps and effects, tc-electronics g major, rocktron voodu valve, boss GX700
Finally, my Tascam interface

Bass ported NS10's for monitors, badly positioned, against the wall
small 10 x 10 room, but I have double dry wall with 1 layer of sound proof dry wall and green glue between the layers.
Only treatment is over my window which you cant see in the pics, some lead backed foam stuff they use to sound proof industrial pipes.

new to gearslutz, hope this post works, never seen this attachment system before!

You traded for a 1k? That's a clean sounding MPC.

Yeah, but my main reasons for getting that one was because of the price, the ability to install JJOS to improve the sequencer, and the USB/.wav connectivity. I was recently on a quest to detach myself from my computer and as the computer was serving as a sequencer as well as my sample library, getting the MPC1000 solved a couple different problems by just migrating my sample library over to a hard drive on the MPC (loads faster than SCSI.) So yeah, I've sacrificed sound a little, but at least my workflow is much better and more efficient.

I hear ya. The MPC 1000 is a nice little machine.

here is my little studio. the ceiling is angled & goes up about 20'. on the left top of the picture you can just see the right tip of a large triangular window. this is a great room to work in but I probably should do something about the windows behind the monitors and maybe the area directly behind the 30" monitor. that said, it doesn't sound too bad for having no acoustic treatment. maybe 'cause there are so many angles in the room. FWIW the room also has to double as my office where I do software development.

Ja klopt. Het heeft 't e.e.a. ook iets anders bij me gedaan. Een nieuwe koopdrang van 'echte' tube-compressors. Maar of dat slecht is, denk van niet.

Bedankt Paul

These are fairly recent pics of my meager space, I have some updates (Avatar 2x12 cab, more guitars, & etc.), but this is pretty much it:

I like it. It's not much and I would consider it 'low end' but it still looks like a great place to just hang out and make music.

Roland VS2400 and Digi001/PT in cahoots in a 2m x 2m square. I really need to build that garage and get all the other crap out of my studio. ;-)

Thanks. Not much space, I would agree, but I have a couple of items that help make accurate and/or pleasing recording/mixing possible. Nice to be surrounded by a bunch of gear that's all paid for and nothing is owed to anybody on any of it!

...Now if I could just get the other half of the room allocated to my music, rather than as a guest room.

I have to..I bought these shovel holders at a hardware store and, there so close to the wall that if I turn the guitars around thell fall off because the head stock kinda bows to the back and will hit the wall....hard to explaine without yor seeing it close!!
