making panels for portable iso booth

I'm making a portable iso "booth" out of 4 panels of rock wool and placing them on mic stands. should I put rfk on the surface of the panels or should I live them alone?

Leave them alone. You want the panel to pick up as much of the high end as you can when using it for that.

Good luck on them.

Which panels did you buy? I'm curious how it works out, I could use to set up a similar portable booth

I bought 2.5lb rockwool 3x16x48. I wish I would have got the 2x24x48 but alas the local dealer I bought it from did not have any.

I built frames using corner bead you use for drywall and riveting them together. I'm talking some big thick round corner bead and flattening them out and putting a length 2 lengths of it across the back of the panel and riveting them to the frame. Then I'm hose clamping them to the mic stands.
