002 install problems help!

I recently purchased a 002 and installed all the software. When i try and open pro tools i get the blue screen of death every time. Digi is closed til monday and i wanna get this started! Anyone have similar problems that can help me with mine?

Is this on a pc? If so did you bother reading Digi's compatability page? If not you might want to consider doing it. Not every pc configuration will work with PT. You might also want to try duc.digidesign.com. Very helpful people over there.

Yes i've read it and i don't see why it wouldnt run perfectly on my rig.

what is your current system consist of...os,pro tools version, pc or mac?

Lol, welcome to the LE club!

It could seriously be hundreds of reasons, from software to hardware.

The sure bet would be to reformat your system HD and reinstall windows, then PT.
