help please - printing audio in pro tools for bfd tracks

How do I print actual WAV files for my BFD tracks in PT LE?

Thank you.

Make the output of the bfd tracks the input of a new audio track, arm the new track for record, set your levels, and record it.

Thanks for your quick response.

The problem is: When I do this I only get a signal when I am actually triggering the samples via my MIDI controller live. If the MIDI is already recorded it will not work...there is no audio in the tracks.

AUX tracks work fine but I need to bring the actual WAV files to another studio.

I'm not familiar with pro tools, so excuse me if this doesn't work just right.

BUT, can you not solo the drum track and then bounce to disk. This will produce a .wav file to where ever you bounced it and you can import that wav file back into the session (or take with you to the other studio/session).

hope that helps/works

odd...this is exactly how i print bfd in pro tools--outputs go to inputs on audio tracks. i use (fo the most part) the grooves in bfd for all of my preproduction stuff. I drag the grooves from the BFD browser to the instrument track, and it all comes out peachy.
