Bounce to disk help

Hello, any way to go around bouncing to disk on my 001 unit?, it just seems to lose all the punch and crisp of my mixes

a very small part of your problem may be attributed to the way the software itself is actually set up. most of your problem is most likely coming from the way your gainstaging is set up.

i'm assuming you have a master fader - is it clipping? are you getting clipping anywhere within the mix, including plugins?

yes, i always have a setero master fader and its never clipping

You're aware that without the Mastering stage the song will sound with less volume, right? Just wanted to claryfy that.

Record to a Stereo Aux and then export.

thanx but yes, its just that when i have my session open in protools it sounds a certain way and when i hear the bounce version in another program its very diffrnt
